Bettie Sue Robey

(March 26, 1932 – October 19, 2010)

 

Mrs. Bettie Robey, 78, a resident of Fulton, KY, died Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at Haws Memorial Nursing Home.

 

She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Fulton, and was employed for 27 years as city treasurer for the City of Fulton.  She had lived in Fulton, KY for most of her life.

 

She is survived by a son, Don Elkins (Cindy), of South Fulton, TN; 3 daughters, Sue Leadford (Bruce), Florence, AL; Donna Robey and Bettina Robey, both of South Fulton; 5 grandchildren, Melissa Elkins of Knoxville, TN, Beth Smith (Michael), Josh Jantz and Shannon Leadford, all of Florence, AL, and Randi Robey of South Fulton, TN; 5 great-grandchildren, Eric Smith, Eli Smith and Tori Leadford, all of Florence, AL, Abbi Nunnery and Maci Nunnery of South Fulton, TN; a sister, Linda Pruiett of Mayfield, KY, and a brother, John Hancock of South Fulton, TN.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents Elmer Hancock and Lula (Johnston) Hancock Weems, and a brother, Bobby Hancock.

 

Funeral services will be held Thursday, at 2 p.m., at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel.  Interment will be in the Obion County Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be from noon Thursday until the funeral hour.
