Charles A. Browder

Mr. Charles A. Browder,
88, died Monday, May 30, 2011, at Martin
Healthcare Center
in Martin, TN.
Mr. Browder was a member
of First United
Methodist Church,
Fulton, KY,
and was a World War II veteran of the United States Army. He was the former owner of Marine Oil Company
in Fulton and
was an avid golfer. He was a Mason –
Roberts Lodge #72, Shriner, and a former member of the Fulton Rotary Club. He had lived in the area all of his life.
He is survived by his wife
of 62 years, Wilma (Harris) Browder, of Fulton, KY; a daughter and son-in-law,
Jen Ray and Allen Gearhart; a son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Debbie Browder,
all of Fulton, KY; and a grandson, Grant Gearhart, of Chapel Hill, NC.
He was preceded in death
by his parents, Opal (Nanney) and Charles Thomas Browder.
A memorial graveside
service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 4, 2011, at the Palestine Cemetery, with Mr. Browder’s grandson,
Grant Gearhart officiating. Friends are
asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:00 a.m., there will be no visitation. Hornbeak Funeral Chapel is handling the
arrangements.
