Gladys Irene Simpson

(October 5, 1924 - June 10, 2011)

Mrs. Gladys Simpsom of South Fulton died Friday at the Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield KY. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time.

Gladys was well loved by her family and friends and she was very active in the community.She enjoyed the Senior Citizens Organization. She was a faithful and active member of the First Baptist Church in Fulton KY and was in the Women's Mission Union there. She was also a founding member of the Oneida Baptist Institute Mission. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by a neice, Denise Randall of Springhill FL, two nephews, Jack (Sophie) Minton of Bowling Green KY, Bill (Lesa) Minton of Decatur AL, and a sister Retta Minton of Bowling Green KY.

She was preceded in death by her husband J.D. Simpson March19, 2001, her parents William Benjamin and Nora Frick Eaves, and two brothers, Louis Clinton Eaves and William Lester Eaves.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 Sunday in our funeral chapel. Burial will follow in the Pleasant view Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1:00PM Sunday until the service hour.
