Joanne Poole Burgess Knight, age 79 of
Bartlett, TN passed away Monday, January 16, 2012 at Rainbow Health and
Rehab in Bartlett, TN. She was a member at Central Church in Memphis
and Inspector for Old Spice Manufacturing. She is survived by her son,
Kenneth R. Burgess, Jr. of Bartlett, TN; 2 daughters, Connie Maki of
Bartlett, TN and Kristin Knight of Hernando, MS; sister, Patty Taylor of
Evans, GA and 2 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her
husband, Kenneth R. Burgess, Sr.; parents, Joseph R. and Lenora Belle
Ross Poole and sister, Louise Rushing. Graveside services will be held 1
PM Thursday at the Oakwood Cemetery with Rev. Aaron Dowdy officiating.
Burial will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call from
11:30-12:30 PM Thursday at the Brown Funeral Home in Clinton.
