Mary Louise Phillips


Mrs. Mary Louise Phillips,94, of New Palestine, Indiana passed away on Thursday January 19, 2012.

She was a former resident of South Fulton.

Funeral services for Mrs. Phillips will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of services on Monday.

Mrs. Phillips was born January 23, 1917, in Perry County, Tennessee, daughter of the late R.A. and Sadie I. (Shannon) Roberts. Mary married J. Raymond Phillips on June 7, 1938. He died February 4, 2008. She was a homemaker and a member of South Fulton Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Nancy (Pat) Gargus of New Palestine, Indiana and Gail (David) Sutton of South Fulton; four grandchildren, Ricky Locke, Cissy (Mike) Shippoli, Davey (Heather) Sutton and Kimber (Josh) Matheny; and eight great-grandchildren, Khaliah (Curtis) Anderson, Chance Shippoli, Payton Rushing, Noah Rushing, Ryan Matheny, Madison Matheny Kylie Sutton and Lexie Sutton.
