Rico Jones


Mr. Rico Jones, 29, of Hickman died Sunday, January 22, 2012, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 28, 2012, at Fulton County Middle School Gym with Rev. James Roberson Officiating. Interment will follow in Hickman City Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the school.
Rico Jones was born July 31, 1982, in Union City, Tennessee to Mary Ann Crisp and Mathis Ross Jones, Jr. He departed this life Sunday, January 22, 2012, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City.
Rico lived in Hickman, Kentucky and attended Bryant Chapel at an early age. He later attended Johnson Chapel. He graduated from Fulton County High School in 2000, where he played football. He also attended Western Kentucky University for three years. He was employed by Williams Sausage in Union City, Tennessee. Rico loved his family and friends.
He leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Mary Ann Crisp and his father Mathis Ross Jones, Jr. (Vanessa Jones); his fiancée’, Carla Cole; three sons, C. J. Smith, Josh Cole and J’Shon Jones all of Hickman,KY; two brothers, Aundra Miller of Tiptonville,TN and Ross Esters; three sisters. Angela Smith (Quintin Hendrix), Sabrina Esters and Sharkita Esters all of Hickman,TN; five nieces, Pyirecia Smith of Hickman,KY, Autumn Miller, Andrea Miller both of Tiptonville,TN, Summer Miller and Za'Kahri Skinner; two nephews; Aireun Hendrix and Kamarian Hendrix all of Hickman,KY and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Doris Lee Giles, Joe Henry Sander, Oneal Bell and Mathis Ross Jones, Sr. and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
