William T. Alexander, Sr.
(July 11, 1926 - January 23, 2012)


Mr. William Taft "W.T." Alexander,Sr.,age 85, of Fulton, KY died at 11 am on January 23, 2012 at the Parkway Regional Hospital in Fulton.

He was a member of the Greater Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and he served in the Korean War. He had been a truck driver for the former Butts Feed Mill and the City Coal Company and had lived in this area all of his life.

He is survived by his wife Clara Freeman Alexander of Fulton,KY whom he married December 6, 1999; three sons George Rose (Arlene) of Westmoreland, TN, William Alexander (Francine) of Martin, TN, Calvin Phillip Alexander (Nadine)of Clinton, KY, two daughters Dimple Alexander of Union City, TN and Louella Johnson of Paris, TN and a step son Marshall Crumble (Tammy) of Hickman, KY, a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, a sister Carol Jean Moody of Ann Arbor,Michigan, and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Emmit and Fludie Alexander,two wives Mildred Ruby Burton Alexander and Eula B. Ross Alexander, two daughters Janice Alexander and Martha Ann Alexander, two sons Ricky Alexander and Jerry Rose, a sister and three brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 1PM Saturday at the Greater Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Fulton KY. Burial will follow in the Greenlea Cemetery.

Friends may call at the church after 11AM Saturday until the service hour.
