Alexander Thompson Arnold CPAs Sponsors Discovery Park Of America Traveling Exhibit Hall

Alexander Thompson Arnold CPAs (ATA) is the name sponsor of the Traveling Exhibit Hall located in Discovery Center, the main exhibit building at Discovery Park of America.  The 4,000 square foot room will house temporary special exhibitions.

Fulton Police make arrest in Dollar General Robbery


The Fulton Police made the following arrest in the Fulton Dollar General Store Robbery:

Phillip Wayne Burton  B/Male Dob: 02-28-1957 was indicted on Robbery 2nd Degree for the Robbery of the Fulton Dollar General Store January 5th  2014 , He was also indicted for failure to comply with/sex Offender Registration. Phillip Burton is incarcerated at the Fulton County Detention Center.

  2. Fleeing and evading ( January 01-07-2014)
  3. Possession of Marijuana ( January 01-07-2014)
  4. Robbery 2nd Degree ( Indictment January-09-2014)
  5. Failure to comply with /sex offender registration ( Indictment January-09-2014)

UT-Martin to receive nursing accreditation review visit


MARTIN, Tenn. — The University of Tennessee at Martin Department of Nursing will host a site review in February for continuing accreditation of its baccalaureate nursing program by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing.

The public is invited to meet the ACEN site visit team and share comments in person about the program at a meeting scheduled for 4 p.m., Wed., Feb. 12, in Gooch Hall, Room 133.

All written comments to the ACEN should be received by Feb. 3, 2014.

UT Martin offered at two-year nursing program from 1970 to 1991 and began the transition to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program in 1988. The university offers the traditional BSN at the main campus and the UT Martin Parsons Center. An RN to BSN program option is offered at the university’s Ripley Center and also online.

Fulton Police make two DUI Arrests



Fulton Police arrested 01-02-2014 William Puckett B/Male, DOB: 1958, resident of Mayfield Kentucky. Fulton Police received a call that a drunk driver was traveling in a 1992 white Ford pickup truck toward Red Bud lane from US. Hwy 51. Officer Tyler Nolan engaged in attempting to stop the driver and the driver fled by traveling East North Highland drive and onto Dr. Martin Luther King Drive traveling south. Fulton County Deputy Fulcher and South Fulton Police Officer Rodney Mitchell engaged and attempted to stop the driver. The driver failed to stop at the intersection of the East State Line and Dr. Martin Luther King Drive and collided into a tree.
