Fulton Police make two DUI Arrests
Fulton Police arrested 01-02-2014 William Puckett B/Male, DOB: 1958, resident of Mayfield Kentucky. Fulton Police received a call that a drunk driver was traveling in a 1992 white Ford pickup truck toward Red Bud lane from US. Hwy 51. Officer Tyler Nolan engaged in attempting to stop the driver and the driver fled by traveling East North Highland drive and onto Dr. Martin Luther King Drive traveling south. Fulton County Deputy Fulcher and South Fulton Police Officer Rodney Mitchell engaged and attempted to stop the driver. The driver failed to stop at the intersection of the East State Line and Dr. Martin Luther King Drive and collided into a tree.
The driver was transported by ambulance to the Parkway Regional Hospital, The Driver was treated and release and faces charges of driving under the influence 4thoffense, Driving on Suspended Operators licenses DUI, fleeing and evading and Wanton Endangerment 1st degree.
Fulton Police arrested 01-02-2014 Michael Minor B/male DOB: 1973, resident of Fulton. Fulton Police received a call that a driver in a 2001 Silver KIA had ran into the building at Cardinal Liquor. Officer Scott McKnight arrived finding that the driver was under the influence of alcoholic beverage. Driver said that his brakes had failed and admitted to drinking alcohol beverages and smoking some Marijuana. Driver was arrested for expired Licenses Plates, Expired operators Licenses, Driving under the influence of Alcohol or drugs and No insurance. He was lodged in the Fulton County detention Center.
