Take Steps in the Fight Against Cancer During Relay For Life
FULTON, Ky. – A team meeting for the 2014 American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Fulton, Hickman and South Fulton will be held Monday, March 31, at 5:30 p.m. at Seven Coffee in Fulton.
Everyone in Fulton and Obion counties is encouraged to join the community event and with walkers nationwide in taking steps in the fight against cancer during Relay For Life.
The 2014 Relay For Life event will take place on Friday, June 6, at Pontotoc Park in Fulton from 6 p.m.-midnight.
By visiting www.relayforlife.org/fultonky, individuals from the area can form a team and join the fight against cancer and support the American Cancer Society mission to educate people on cancer prevention and early detection, start and maintain programs and services for cancer patients and caregivers, and fund cancer research at places like the University of Kentucky, University of Louisville, St. Jude and Vanderbilt.
Cancer survivors are also encouraged to register to participate in the survivor lap at the event’s start.
