Four arrested at Hickman Harbor area

On Saturday, March 29, 2014 at approximately 22:00 hours while on patrol in the City of Hickman a suspicious vehicle was observed going through the opening in the seawall to the Hickman Harbor area. When the vehicle failed to exit the Harbor area FCSO deputies using night vision were able to locate and observe four individuals attempting to cut through a heavy chain link that was attached to a deadhead buried in the bank of the harbor. A deadhead is used to secure tow boat, & barges to the bank. After observing all four of the individuals engaging in criminal activities deputies approached the subjects and questioned their activities; subjects stated they thought the chain was something that someone left behind and there for the taking. The thickness of the chain links are approximately 1.5” and the length of the entire chain was approximately 15’ to 20’

All four subjects were arrested for the following charges:

Steven L Warner Jr, white male, DOB 03/24, 1991, & Jacelyn M Warner, white female, DOB 07/27/1991 both of Union City, TN were charged with criminal littering, theft by unlawful taking or disposition all others $500 or more but under $10,000, unlawful transaction with a minor, 3rd degree, possession of open alcohol beverage container in a motor vehicle prohibited, fire hazards, setting a fire without consent of the owner, and criminal mischief, 1st degree.

Adam W Squires, white male, DOB 12/21/1995, of Hornbeak, TN, was charged with criminal littering, theft by unlawful taking or disposition all other $500 or more but under $10,000, criminal mischief, 1st degree, fire hazards, setting fire without consent of owner, and possession of open alcohol beverage container in motor vehicle prohibited.

Chelsey M Brinkley, white female, DOB 04/14/1995, of Union City, TN, was charged with criminal littering, theft by unlawful taking or disposition all other $500 or more but under $10,000, criminal mischief, 1st degree, fire hazards, setting fire without consent of owner, and possession of open alcohol beverage container in motor vehicle prohibited.

All subjects were transported to the Fulton County Detention Center in Hickman, KY.

The FCSO was assisted at the scene by the Hickman Police Department.
