Obituary – Wilodean Milner
Mrs. Willodean Milner, 91, of Hickman died Sunday, March 23, 2014, at Union City Manor Nursing and Rehab Center.
Services will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2014, at Johnson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Turner officiating. Interment will follow in Hickman City Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the church.
She was born September 22, 1922, to Walter and Elma Roberson.
She was a graduate of Riverview High School. She united in wedlock to Joe Davis Milner. She was a member of Johnson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.
She served as president of the Senior Choir, Mother’s Board, Building Fund and Decorating Committee. She was also an Eastern Star and attended the district
functions. She was a walking historian.
She leaves to cherish her memory one sister, Elizabeth Chiers of Chicago, Illinois; one brother, Willard Roberson of Battle Creek, Michigan; adoptive daughters, Juli Falkoff(Brian) of New York, Nicole Roberson (Lamar) and Vanessa Alexander, both of Union City, Tennessee and Ashleigh Couch of Hickman, Kentucky; adoptive son, Ellis Falkoff (Julie) of Union City, Tennessee; granddaughters, Stella Falkoff, Patsy Alexander, De’Amlyn Winter and Lamandrian Roberson; grandsons, Max Falkoff, Jaquese Wesley and Kamave Brown; a special niece, Frances Roberson; special friends, Corrine Castleman, Doris Lottus, Hazel Litsey, Mildred Pierson, Idella Turner, Paula J. Garrison and Swannie Rice and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Lawis Edmond, Opal Merryweather, Rachael Adams and Thelma Moore; brothers, Elbert Roberson and Leonard Roberson and a special niece, Ella B. Edward.
