Carr Elementary Preschool learn about color mixing

Students in Jill Jackson’s three-year-old Preschool classes at Carr Elementary School learned how to make different colors by mixing primary colors this week. Their teachers taught this principle using paint. After mixing the colors, the students made artwork for the classroom with the paint, using their hands and feet as painting tools. Preschool Assistant Melanie Gunn helps student Olivia McElrath prepare to mix colors using her feet in order to make artwork from a mixture of her footprints along with those of the other students. The students also learned the process using their hands and made artwork out of handprints, too.
