Easter Egg Hunt Practice Session

UNION CITY, TN- Over 10,000 Eggs have been ordered, as Discovery Park of America announces it’s Easter “Eggstravaganza” which will take place Saturday afternoon, April 19th.  This giant Easter Egg Hunt will be free for members and anyone with paid admission that day.  Moms, dads and grandparents are invited to bring the little ones to Discovery Park Saturday for this exciting “first” Easter Egg Hunt!  No registration is required, but children do need to bring their own basket.  The hunt will take place on the Great Lawn on the north side of the grounds at Discovery Park.

The fun will begin at 1:00 p.m. with ages two and under.  At 1:30 the three year olds will have their turn.  Four and five year olds will be turned loose at 2:00 p.m.  The location might change for the six and seven year olds at 2:30, but everyone needs to meet at the Great Lawn.  And the eight through 10 year olds will also meet at the Great lawn at 3:00 p.m., where they will be escorted to a little more challenging hunt as well.  All participants may redeem their collected eggs for a special treat.

On the other side of the park, there will be “Face Painting” in the Rotary Pavilion beginning at 1:00 p.m.  Your child can choose from a full bunny mask, a glitzy tattoo or a cute bunny face for $2.00 – $10.00.  Face-painting will continue as long as there are kids in line!

Park officials say the Easter Egg Hunt and Face Painting events  will take place, rain or shine.  For additional information, visit the website at or call 731-885-5455
