Hannah Grooms inks letter of intent
Hannah Grooms, a senior at Fulton High School, signed a national letter of intent Wednesday morning to play volleyball at Hannibal-LaGrange University in Missouri. Grooms, the daughter of Bruce and Tracey Grooms, completed her high school career with 410 kills and 137 aces. Grooms also logged 27 blocks, 55 digs, and served at 85.9%, At FHS, Grooms was a part of three consecutive 20-plus win seasons (2011, 2012, and 2013) and three consecutive district championship teams (2011, 2012, 2013). Grooms was a co-captain for the Lady Bulldogs this season and was named to the All-District team. Watching as Grooms signed the paperwork Wednesday were her parents, FHS volleyball Coach Chad Malray and most of the FHS volleyball team. Grooms plans to major in photography and graphic design at the NAIA-affiliated university when classes begin this fall.
