It is within our human nature to continue to do something as long as it works and makes sense. The phrase, “if it’s not broke, don’t fix it,” can hold true to many things in life. Since 2007, I have had a hand in all things Fulton Kentucky News related, and since the fall of 2010, have been the sole editor, as far as the day to day operations go.

Twin Cities Men’s Organization presents: Meet The Candidates Forum

On Saturday April 26th, 2014 at 11:00 am the Twin Cities Men’s Organization will be holding a “Meet The Candidates” Forum.  Officials from both Fulton Co. and Obion Co. will be on hand to give their platforms for the upcoming elections in the Twin Cities.

First Lady Jane Beshear to visit Carr Elementary today


First Lady Jane Beshear will travel across the state as a part of the fourth annual Kentucky Literacy Celebration Week March 17-21. Mrs. Beshear will participate in various activities to commemorate this statewide celebration focused on improving literacy levels for all Kentuckians.  

KY Transportation Cabinet Schedules Public Meeting on Rail Plan in Fulton

 Frankfort, KY (February 17, 2014)  The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC), along with consulting firm Parsons Brinckerhoff, has assembled a project team to update the Kentucky Statewide Rail Plan.  The plan is a policy document that details freight and rail passenger operations and trends in Kentucky, and focuses on setting a framework for high level goals and policies that can be used by decision makers, industry officials, and others interested in rail in the commonwealth.
